Develop Salone PROVIDES SKILLS TO KAMAKWIE PROGRESSIVE WOMEN ASSOCIATION (KAPROWAS)
Develop Salone (DESAL) through Trocaire and hashtag#IrishAid Civil Society Partnership project established, trained and supported the KAPROWAS with skills to produce homolem drink (Honey, lemongrass and Moringa), a nutritious and medicinal drink.
This initiative, carried out in Kamakwie Town, highlights the power of community-driven innovative development and the importance of utilizing locally available resources to promote healthy, sustainable, and economic empowerment. By combining the natural benefits of honey, moringa, and lemongrass, the HOMOLEM drink stands as a symbol of innovation rooted in tradition.

Through this skills training; women in Kamakwei and other communities are being equipped with practical skills in production, value-addition, and entrepreneurship — creating opportunities for income generation while improving local nutrition drink through community local resources.
