Develop Salone and its partners Solidaridad West Africa, in collaboration Nianda Agriculture and Trading Company, and the Communications and Visibility Consultant of the EU Jobs and Growth Project, has kicked off a joint field visit to cashew farms in the North.
Under the EU-funded Developing an Inclusive Sustainable Cashew Agroforestry Value Chain (DISCA-VC) – Jobs and Growth Project, the team is monitoring the transplanting of polyclonal cashew seedlings into permanent farms in Bombali and Port Loko Districts.

The mission will also document progress and increase visibility of the EU-funded project within benefiting communities, including interactions with Sierra Leonean university graduates who have been part of the DISCA-VC project since April 2023 under its capacity development drive.
